The photo shows the 82-year-old in bed, holding his daughter Kelly Nascimento. “Let’s continue here, in the struggle and in the faith. One more night together,” she wrote on Saturday night in his post on Instagram about it.
The Albert Einstein Hospital in São Paulo announced on Wednesday that Pele’s cancer was progressing and that he needed more intensive care due to kidney and heart problems.
The football legend has been in hospital since November 29 to adjust chemotherapy for colon cancer. According to media reports, Pele’s chemotherapy recently failed.

Brazilian soccer star Neymar (30) paid tribute to Pele in a video Kely Nascimento (55) posted on Instagram. “As you know, Pele is part of my story,” said Neymar, among other things.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward said he had been nominated by a sponsor to honor Pele with a ‘player of history’ trophy. There is only one such player. “King, our love and respect to you,” said Neymar.
With Brazil’s selection, the 30-year-old finished last in Qatar W.M-Quarter-finals eliminated. The world record champion missed out on his sixth title.
