In fact, the Chamber of Deputies is discussing the proposal of the CNEL (National Council of Economy and Labor) regarding the notification of fines and fines to all motorists through the PEC. Here’s how the Highway Code changes
The CNEL proposal amends art.80 of the Highway Code. When registering the vehicle, the motorist must also communicate his certified e-mail address. This modification is aimed precisely at ensuring that all fines and fines are notified by certified e-mail.
Notification by certified e-mail is currently one of the most useful tools for receiving and sending rapid communications with a registered letter. This solution would also lead to considerable savings for the state coffers. But what are the costs for the taxpayer?
The notification of a fine and / or fine has a cost of about 10 euros, which would be saved by the institutions. But how much does it cost for the taxpayer to have a certified electronic address? Fortunately, the costs are very low.
There are several providers that offer taxpayers the opening of PEC and its renewal, even at a cost of only 6 euros a year.
Another advantage is the possibility of using it also for sending personal registered letters.
From when will the PEC be mandatory for motorists?
