Oussama Darfalou must be the new striker of PEC Zwolle turn into. The Blue Fingers are diligently looking for scoring ability and think it is with the Algerian van Speed to get in.
There is hope in Zwolle that Darfalou can be presented before the turn of the year. That can be read in The Telegraph. The striker should come over on a rental basis from Vitesse, where he got few opportunities from trainer Thomas Letsch in the first half of the season. He usually chose Lois Openda and Nikolai Baden Frederiksen.
The morning paper writes that there is more interest in Darfalou, but that PEC has the best papers to bring him in. At the end of this season, the Algerian is also transfer-free, so the Blauwvingers will hope that Darfalou does well in Overijssel and may want to stay a little longer.
The 28-year-old Darfalou has been playing for Vitesse since 2018 and in those more than three years he came to 93 official matches, in which nineteen goals were scored. The striker was never completely undisputed in Arnhem and in 2020 he was already rented out to VVV-Venlo.
