The PCR tests practiced on young people confined in Villamayor de Santiago have left a single positive by Covid-19. As sources from the Ministry of Health have confirmed to SER Cuenca, of the 19 tests that have been carried out on this group of young people, 18 have given a negative result, ten days after contact with a positive for coronavirus.
The only positive case of Villamayor will continue, predictably, in home isolation as his hospitalization was not decreed.
This group of young was in contact with a friend who came to the town on the weekend of July 11 and 12, and that upon returning to Madrid he tested positive for COVID-19.
The infected young man alerted the town and people who had contact with him were confined to their homes, following the protocol, until the test is performed after 10 days.
During this period none of the confined youth, a score in Villamayor and six in Madrid, has shown symptoms, as explained by municipal sources. The 19 Villamayor tests were held on Tuesday the 21st in the afternoon.
