Sony has posted a strange social media post about Bloodborne and many are hoping the company is preparing some sort of announcement. As many know, this game remains one of FromSoftware’s most popular titles, which speaks volumes about Elden Ring’s success, but Sony owns the rights to Bloodborne. This means that Sony could theoretically do things without FromSoftware, but at the same time the company may not want to.
Bloodborne topics appear online every few weeks, often without any comments from Sony or FromSoftware. Given the quirkiness of the message, it’s hard not to see something special in it.
The message is quite simple as shown below. Sony asked if fans could see it and wondered if they knew which PlayStation game cover had been zoomed in. It is immediately clear that this is Bloodborne, but why this post was written – this is the question everyone is asking. Despite Bloodborne’s popularity, it has never received a sequel, hasn’t been ported to PC, and hasn’t been updated for PS5 consoles. A follow-up is unlikely, but two other possibilities are not excluded.
After all, many Sony games have moved to PC, like Marvel’s Spider-Man games, and even more games have received a quality and performance upgrade for PS5. Games like The Last of Us have even been redesigned for her. Hope it means something.
