Patricia Paay thinks punishment requirement for pee sex video distributors is too low | Show

Patricia Paay thinks the sentence imposed by the Public Prosecution Service (OM) put on the table today for the distribution of her infamous pee-sex video in ‘scant contrast’ with the damage she suffered from it privately and professionally. The 71-year-old singer states this in a statement RTL Boulevard.

‘In the eyes of the law, literally destroying someone’s life and existence is therefore not worth much,’ says Paay.

One of the disseminators must, if it is up to the judiciary, for two weeks behind bars. The other has received a community service order of 80 hours. Both men must also pay a fine of 250 and 200 euros respectively.

The diva is happy that at least a conviction is on the way. “People should know that if you disclose someone else’s private photos or videos without permission, it is a criminal offense and could result in a conviction,” she concludes.

No style

Paay’s pee-sex video caused quite a stir at the beginning of 2017. The suspects posted the video on Twitter account Eendevanger, after which the Geenstijl website linked it. Paay then took Geenstijl and Eendevanger to court. She received damages of 30,000 euros.

Justice nevertheless proceeded to prosecution. GeenStijl agreed to a penalty proposal (a fine of 3000 euros), but the two suspects did not. Therefore, both must now still appear in court.

Paay was not present at the hearing today. The judge will rule in two weeks.
