Patricia Arquette will play a role in the new thriller series Severance of Apple TV + streaming service. That reports Deadline Monday.
Arquette won a Golden Globe on Sunday for her role in the series The Act. The American actress previously also received an Emmy Award for this. In Severance she becomes Adam Scott’s opponent, who is known for, among other things Big Little Lies. Ben Stiller will produce the series.
Severance is about a company named Lumen Industries that takes the fact that there must be a good balance between work and private life to a higher level. Arquette plays the boss of the company. Scott plays an employee who is trying to pick up after a difficult period. There is for Severance no release date announced yet.
Arquette also won an Emmy for her lead role in the series Medium and an Oscar for the film drama Boyhood from 2014. It is the third time that she has collaborated with Stiller as a producer. They previously played together in the comic film Flirting With Disaster from 1996.
