If the dates of the patent tests were postponed due to the heat wave, the college students had planed Monday July 1 and Tuesday July 2, 2019.
Postponed trials
Some 800,000 students passed the college patent exam in France in 2019. The patent, whose ancestor (the BEPC) was created in 1947, is a diploma which attests to the knowledge and skills acquired at the end of college, at the end of the third class, according to the title of the Ministry of ‘National Education.
In 2018, in Seine-Saint-Denis, a public college had a success rate of 100%: the international college of Noisy-le-Grand (with a mention rate of 94.19%).
