Passenger bus 02 BK 056, under the direction of Mehmet İspir from Istanbul to Adana, hit the ADF 774 plate trailer with a rear control at the 17th kilometer of Aksaray-Adana highway.
With the impact of the crash, the bus was swung out of the road.
Many firefighters, AFAD, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
In the accident, 2 people from the bus company were injured with 42 passengers.
TIR driver Kızılkaya was detained by gendarmerie teams.
On the other hand, the injured passenger Yakup Menteş stated to the reporters that he went to Adıyaman from Istanbul and noted that the traffic police did not allow the bus, which he measured the pressure of his tires, when he left Esenler Bus Terminal.
Stating that they took the passengers out of the bus station by putting them in another service, Menteş said, “They put us back on the same bus under a bridge outside the bus station. I was sitting in the back, friends said that the driver was asleep.”
