On Saturday, the police in the Inland moved to Badedammen in Lillehammer, where there are between 100 – 150 young people gathered.
– More drunk and minors. There is a great atmosphere and we will stay there until further notice, the police report on Twitter.
The police’s operations manager Atle Bernhoft von Obsfelder tells Dagbladet that they are now issuing a request to the young people’s parents to contact their children.
– We have no chance to stop this, because we do not have so many patrols. Therefore, we now ask parents to contact their children, he says to Dagbladet.
Expect people to follow the advice in Oslo
Ask parents to contact
The operations manager says that they will stay on site throughout the evening and follow the situation there. At the same time, the police are trying to give the young people who are gathered there some advice on how they should behave.
– It is not the case that a meter distance is kept between those who are there, but there is not much we can do about it, other than to give advice, says Von Obstfelder.
In Hamar, more than 100 young people have been reported in the area by Domkirkeodden.
– Local night owls are present and we also drive to the place. We also ask here, as in previous incidents in the Inland, that parents take a phone call to their respective and ask where they are and what they are doing, the police write on Twitter.
