The so-called cause of the accident was a recent failure of Lanzhou Nuclear Huaxi. According to a report of the Lanzhou Municipal Sanitary and Sanitary Commission on November 25, the personnel of Lanzhou Nuclear Huaxi mistakenly entered the information of negative personnel in the positive personnel list and uploaded it to the job system, resulting in incorrect transfers in the local area.
Under the continuous digging from all walks of life, public opinion has raised doubts about several aspects. First, Lanzhou Nuclear Huaxi was only established on August 8 this year. How can a company that has just been established for three months get the nucleic acid testing business in Lanzhou? Secondly, the Huaxi nuclear laboratories in various parts of China have had frequent accidents during the test period of more than two years, not only have they not received any punishment, but have they become bigger and bigger?
According to a Nov. 29 report by China’s “Health Times,” Nuclear Huaxi and its laboratories violated regulations 10 times during the outbreak. It was first notified on April 14, 2020, and the reason for the infringement was “failure to place infected medical waste in special packaging”. Subsequently, there were “falsified test results”, “falsified medical documents”, “report reviewer does not match the actual reviewer”, “using non-technical personnel to work”, etc. The problems are different every time.
However, Hezi Huaxi received relatively minor penalties each time. Punishment measures include “reprimand”, “correction within a time limit”, “severe punishment” or a fine of several thousand to tens of thousands of yuan, with a fine maximum of 50,000 yuan (about $7,000). The complex chain of interests behind the nucleic acid industry
Under the CCP’s strict epidemic prevention, the city shutdown and the nucleic acid test of all employees complement each other.
