The 30-year-old died on April 11, 2024. The artist’s death was a surprise to everyone and aroused the police’s suspicions. The singer was found dead in her home in Seoul. The direct cause of death was cardiac arrest. The police are still investigating the mysterious circumstances of the tragic event.
As reported by CNN, a day after the tragic event, the Namyangju Police Station filed a report stating that artist before her death she was at a private meeting with two friends. At one point she went to the toilet and did not come back. Friends “found her lying under the sink, she was unconscious.” The singer’s relatives performed resuscitation and called the emergency services. She was immediately taken to the hospital in Guri, where she died the same day.

Before her death, Boram was working on new music and had plans to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her presence in the K-pop industry. The artist released two studio albums.
