Paris Traffic Update: Tractor Blockages Move Closer to the Capital

The pressure is growing around Paris and its residents may soon be surrounded by the noise of tractor engines. On Tuesday, some blocking points of angry farmers moved closer to the capital.

Determined to “starve” Parisians, some farmers are even a stone’s throw from the Rungis international market.

Update on blockages in Île-de-France:

Nord

– A1: Closed north of Roissy-Charles-De-Gaulle airport, between Senlis (60) and Roissy-en-France (95) in the direction of Paris and closed near Épiais-lès-Louvres ( 95) in the North direction.

– A16: Closed in both directions, between Hardivillers (60) and L’Isle-Adam (95) towards Paris and near L’Isle-Adam towards the province.

East

– A4: Closed between Serris (77) and Ferrières-en-Brie (77) in the direction of Paris and between Ferrières-en-Brie and Serris, near Jossigny.

– A5a: Closed in both directions, at Réau (77) in the direction of Paris and at Moissy-Cramayel (77) in the Paris-Province direction.

Sud

– A6: Yesterday in Villabé (91), the farmers of the FDSEA of Seine-et-Marne and their hundred tractors advanced their blocking point to the level of Chilly-Mazarin (91), i.e. less than ten kilometers from Orly airport and Rungis Market. They do not rule out continuing to move closer together if concrete measures are not quickly taken by the government.

– A10: The farmers of the A10 have also moved forward their blocking point at the toll from Saint-Arnoult to Janvry (91) just before Les Ulis and now find themselves facing a gendarmerie barrier made up of two armored vehicles.

West

– A13: Around fifty additional tractors arrived this morning at the Épône-Mézières site (78), i.e. 10 kilometers closer to Paris for those who were at Mantes-la-Jolie (78) yesterday.

– A15: Closed in the direction of Paris between Argenteuil (95) and Gennevilliers, this is the blockage closest geographically to the capital. .
