Paris Hilton is experiencing that magical moment of becoming a mother and welcoming the new member of the family that has been awaited with love for so long. The businesswoman became a mother together with her husband, Carter Reum, of little Phoenix, conceived thanks to her surrogacy. A very desired and loved child, but who does not give up in the heiress’s efforts to become a mother again, if possible to a girl, her greatest desire.
The businesswoman has always been very honest about her desire to be the mother of a little “mini-Paris”, so she plans to keep trying. Of course, she will have to undergo more fertility treatments, because at the moment, she has no less than 20 frozen embryos, but all of them are male.
As the businesswoman herself reveals in an interview for Glamour UKthe couple has about twenty embryos ready to be transferred and start the surrogacy process again, but there is a “problem”: they are all children.
“We have gone through this seven times and they are all children. I have 20 children,” he confesses in the interview, revealing that the couple does not intend to give up on getting their long-awaited girl and for that reason they would be undergoing more treatments: “I just underwent it again to the process a month ago. I’m waiting for the results, to see if there are any girls”.
Paris has never hidden her desire to have a girl and maintain a relationship like the one she and her sister, Nicky Hilton (left) have with their mother, Kathy.
“I’ve been planning my children’s names for years. I knew if I had a daughter she would be called London, because it’s one of my favorite cities. It’s a beautiful name, it works for both a boy and a girl. I love it, It’s pretty and it sounds good: Paris and London”.
The well-known socialite has already confessed that they were trying to be parents, having undergone various fertility treatments since the start of the pandemic in 2020, without success.

Phoenix is the first child for Hilton, but the second for the economist, who is already the father of a ten-year-old girl from a passing affair with Laura Bellizzi, an American reality contestant. However, Reum does not maintain contact with the girl.
Something unthinkable in Spain
In Spain, the current Assisted Reproduction Law 14/2006 does not allow the selection of the sex of the embryo(s) to be transferred, although it is true that the sex of the transferred embryo can be known indirectly, always a posteriori, in cases where that PGD (Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis) has been carried out, since Spanish legislation only allows the selection of the sex of the embryo to avoid the transmission of genetic diseases linked to the sexual chromosomes.
