A candle at the origin of fire?
The Parisian specifies that it was the residents who warned the firefighters. Fire started in the maids’ rooms on the top floors of a building in this red-brick HLM complex that stretches along the Maréchaux, property of the RIVP, the social landlord of the city of Paris. The 7e and 8e floors are destroyed.
Technicians from the central laboratory of the prefecture of police were dispatched to comb the scene. The fire started well on the 8th floor. According to a witness, a candle would be the source of fire
