Palma will decorate the streets with urban art

The Deputy Mayor for Infrastructure and Accessibility, Angélica Pastor, together with the urban art artist Alfredo Durban, and the Llevant District councilor, Daniel Oliveira, presented this Thursday in Pere Garau the set of interventions in the neighborhoods with whom you want to contribute to beautify spaces that on many occasions are the object of recurring vandalism graffiti.

As explained by the Palma City Council in a press release, these interventions of urban art in the neighborhoods, which will be carried out by the artist Alfredo Durban and in collaboration with Endesa, they have started this weekend with interventions in Pere Garau (c / Médico Josep Darder, 33) and in the Son Gibert neighborhood. Over the next few days they will reach 10 more points on the streets of Pere Garau.

Pastor explained that these interventions that begin this week want to complement the Vandal Graffiti Cleanup Action Plan and contribute to the fight against incivism. The councilor has explained the investments in the neighborhoods to clean vandalism graffiti on walls, benches, bins and walls located in the parks and neighborhoods of Palma.
