A video was released yesterday in which Mohammad Aamir revealed that he was suffering from severe mental distress due to the poor intervention of the current team management. In this video, Aamir makes it clear that he will no longer be involved in international cricket. The PCB has also stated that the player has retired after this.

‘No. I will not leave cricket anywhere. You may have seen the way everyone treated me and the way I was treated. I see it as an indication that I was not included in the 35 – member team announced last day. If there is no room in the 35-member team, then how do you get on the team? ‘ – Aamir asks in a video shared by Pakistani journalist Shuaib Jat.

‘I have no hope of being able to play anymore under the current team management. I think this is the right time to retire from cricket. Their approach is mentally debilitating to me. I do not think I can endure such torture anymore. I went through a lot of persecution in 2010–2015. I was suspended from cricket and punished for the mistake I made that day ‘- Aamir pointed out in the video.
