Entrepreneurs can submit projects starting with November, through which they will obtain financing of up to 1,000,000 euros. This is the financing line that should replace Measure 3 of the COVID State aid scheme for SMEs.
Smis experts have developed a complete solution both entrepreneurs and consulting firms to verify eligibility, write the project and submit it under Action 4.1.1 “Investing in productive activities”.
Smis is a Romanian start-up born from the need to facilitate the access of entrepreneurs to non-reimbursable financing, as well as from their need to be guided in the elaboration of a project and its implementation.
In April, the Smis team launched M2Manager, the first application in Romania that facilitates the implementation of a program with European funding (Measure 2) currently used by over 3,100 beneficiaries, and in June the application was launched HORECA manager, which helped over 700 beneficiaries to apply under the Horeca scheme.
Now, Smis comes to the aid of entrepreneurs with three new applications developed in partnership with Termene.ro. For the first time, entrepreneurs have access to a suite of applications: POCStatus, POCSketch and POCManager, which forms a complete platform for eligibility check company within Action 4.1.1 “Investing in productive activities”, for project elaboration and submission as well as for implementations his.
The objective of the state aid scheme is to support SMEs in the context of the economic crisis generated by the COVID-9 pandemic, by providing aid to those facing a deficit or even unavailability of liquidity. Through this aid scheme, potential beneficiaries have the opportunity to access a grant of up to 1.000.000 euro, but they must take into account that they have 30 days from the time of launching the final guide to draw up the project and prepare the necessary documents. The projects will be contracted according to the principle “first come, first served”.
To have a chance at funding, experts Smis recommends to entrepreneurs:
- To quickly obtain the price offers for the expenses to be budgeted (2 offers for each purchase);
- To prepare the company’s documents (CUI, articles of incorporation, 2019-2020 balance sheets and CV of the project manager);
- If necessary, prepare the documents, in accordance with the applicant’s guide (if the project involves the acquisition or construction of a production / service space: SF, PT, DALI, CU, CC, AVC, ANEVAR, etc.).
