The Prosecutor’s Office is conducting investigations to accuse Yasser Al-Qurashi of interfering in a public office and intentionally spreading false news.
In a statement on Sunday evening, the Prosecutor’s Office said that the Statement Department at the Public Prosecutor’s Office monitored the circulation of publications broadcast by a person named Yasser Al-Qurashi on various social networking sites, inviting people into them under the name of “judicial officer” to speed up the completion of marriage procedures in the current month of January, before the enactment of the new family law, on the pretext that its texts oblige whoever proposes marriage to pay a sum which can reach fifty thousand pounds in the family fund, contrary to the truth.
And the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in conjunction with the dissemination of these publications, received a letter from the Courts and Judicial Complaints Sector of the Ministry of Justice requesting an assessment from the aforementioned, which was proved by the Notaries and Notaries Department of the industry who had not worked as authorized before, and who acknowledged it during his discussion in the industry, confirming that he is the person who appears in the publications circulating on the communication sites stating that he has not published it, adding that he does the work of licenses of marriage and document the marriage contracts with the permission of the Marriage Legal Officer of Fawala District of Abdeen District. The competent prosecutor has started the investigation.
The police investigation responded to the validity of defendant Yasser’s claim – and his fame as Yasser Al-Qurashi – that he was working as a legally authorized person which was not true and that he posted false news on his page on a social network site that circulated on social networks, meaning from that financial profit and gaining fame and circulation, and the investigation added that he had obtained an authorization from one of the legal Ma’zoun to perform his job duties and assist him by appearing on his behalf and filling in the data of the marriage contract and divorce certificates in their own books after receiving them from him.
The Public Prosecutor questioned the defendant, Yasser, about the charges against him, who acknowledged the legitimacy of his offer, the publication spread on his personal page on a social network with the intention of making a profit, and that the page is available to all to follow and view its content, emphasizing that in his capacity as assistant to the bailiff referred to in the investigation, his role is limited to compiling drafts of marriage contracts, divorce acts, approval of the formula legal, offer and acceptance, without transcribing them in official deeds such as books and contracts, and questioning the aforesaid lawyer, he decided with the same content of the other’s declaration regarding the fact that his role was limited only to the drafting of the contract.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office has ordered the detention of the accused, Yasser, for 4 days pending investigations, and the release of the accused bailiff if he has paid a monetary guarantee of five thousand lire, and the investigations are being completed.
The defendant, Yasser Al-Qurashi, urged those asking for marriage to “write the book” (the contract) quickly, after rumors appeared on his personal page about the husband’s obligation to pay large sums of money to the Family Fund to plan marriage with reduce the increase in divorce cases among newly married couples, saying “Get married quickly”. to do so.
