The crown figures continue to rise. There are still more than 1,500 people with or due to a coronary infection in Belgian hospitals. This is what emerges from the latest data from the Sciensano health institute.
There are exactly 1,548 coronary patients in the hospitals. This is an 18 percent increase from a week ago. The number of patients in the wards intensive care increased by 3 percent over the same period, to 75.
On average, 111.3 coronary patients are hospitalized every day, Sciensano reports. That’s 18 percent more than a week ago.
The number of registered crown cases it rises even further. Between October 1 and October 7, an average of 3,153 new infections it was an 11% increase over the previous seven days.
Of positivity report amounts to 25 percent. This means that one in four tests indicate an infection.
During the first week of October, an average of 7 Death per day after a coronavirus infection. That’s an 81 percent increase in seven days.
