For the last 24 hours in the country 26,727 tests for coronavirus have been performed, in which 1368 new cases have been identified, or this is over 5%, according to the data in the Unified Information Portal.
For comparison, a day earlier the new infected were 1371, with 20,952 tests performed.
Most new cases were registered in Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas and Varna.
In the last 24 hours, 21 people died of covid, and 410 were cured. There are 2313 patients in hospital, 193 of whom are in the intensive care unit.
11,774 doses of vaccine were given, bringing the total to 2,212,854 doses.
