Calgary – Alexander Ovechkin shot up to third place in the all-time top scorers list in the North American ice hockey league NHL on Tuesday. The Russian star forward scored twice in the Washington Capitals’ 5-4 win over the Calgary Flames to join Jaromir Jagr on 766 goals in the NHL regular season. Only Wayne Gretzky (894) and Gordie Howe (801) are ahead of Owetschkin.
