Outrageous case in Baia Mare! An old woman from Finteșu Mic was looking for food in a dumpster, because the hunger and fatigue of the last few days had taken their toll. No one would have thought that the woman would end up being severely beaten even by a sanitation worker.
The body lying full of wounds on the ground was discovered by several residents of the area, who called 112. The medical team of the Maramureș County Ambulance Service immediately arrived at the scene. That was the moment when the doctors on the ambulance realized that the old woman had been the victim of an assault, at which point they decided to notify the Police.
The woman narrated the entire violent episode
According to the information provided by vasiledale.ro., an old woman was severely beaten by a sanitation employee, after hunger pushed her to look for food in the garbage.
Despite the pain she felt, the woman from Baia Mare managed to tell the police officers how the whole scene unfolded: the man from sanitation was accompanying a car picking up the garbage, and when he saw it he jumped at it and beating her mercilessly, until she fell to the ground, overcome with pain.
The law enforcement officers identified the aggressor
According to the information provided by the competent authorities, the 56-year-old individual has been identified. The investigation continues.

After going to the scene, the police found out that a 61-year-old woman from Finteușu Mic was assaulted on Constantin Brâncoveanu street by a 56-year-old man from Baia Mare.
The woman was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
