The Bas-Saint-Laurent Integrated Health and Social Services Center is informing the population of Kamouraska that there will be a break in obstetrics at the Notre-Dame-de-Fatima Hospital in La Pocatière, from Friday, October 15 4 p.m. until Monday, October 18 at 11:59 p.m.
A last-minute issue related to the nursing workforce is causing this disruption in service. The CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent would like to remind the population of Kamouraska that everything is done to plan service corridors within the appropriate timeframe.
Thus, future mothers have, at all times, access to a transfer to Rivière-du-Loup and Montmagny if necessary and to staff who can welcome them and offer them safe and efficient services.
