WHEN WILL THE 2020 YKS PREFERENCE RESULTS BE ANNOUNCED? OSYM
ÖSYM President Prof. Dr. Halis AYGÜN made a statement on his official twitter address:
“Dear young people, you are excited, I understand you and share your excitement. We are working with all our strength for you, the future of our country. Controls continue in the 2020-YKS placement process. We will announce the results of the placement next week.”
HOW WILL THE PLACEMENT RESULTS BE ANNOUNCED?
Placement Results will be announced to candidates via internet (https://sonuc.osym.gov.tr). Result document will not be printed

WHEN AND HOW WILL THE CENTER GENERAL PLACEMENT BE DONE?
In admitting students to higher education programs, higher education with the Central Placement by ÖSYM
Two different methods are used, namely, Selection by Special Ability Exam conducted by the institutions. Central docking

YKS ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES WHEN?
The second chance for candidates who cannot complete the YKS selection process comes with additional choices. In the ÖSYM 2020 YKS preference guide, the following statements are included, although there is no exact date for additional choices.
“After the registration process for higher education programs is completed, the universities will be notified of the vacant quotas to ÖSYM. Additional placement will be made centrally by ÖSYM for the quotas of higher education programs that are vacant at the end of the general placement made according to the results of 2020-YKS.
Candidates placed in a higher education program in central placement will not be able to apply for additional placement.
In Additional Placement; Candidates with a score below the lowest scores in the central general placement will not be placed in associate and undergraduate programs. At the end of the final registration, students will not be accepted for pre-registration for the programs that have a quota.
Additional placement preference fee will be 20,00 TL. The preferences for additional placement of candidates who have made a preference for additional placement and who do not pay the additional placement fee will not be processed. In accordance with the decision of the OSYM Board of Directors dated 14.01.2019, no additional placement fee will be charged for the spouse of martyrs, children of martyrs, veterans, veterans’ spouses and children of veterans. “
