After racing with Alex Palou in FP1 in Austin, McLaren will have Patricio O’Ward drive Lando Norris’ MVL36 in next week’s F1 Abu Dhabi GP FP1 session as part of his FP1 rookie obligations.
However, should Oscar Piastri be released from all contractual obligations by Alpine, the former F3 and F2 champions will be able to participate in F1 post-season youth tests at Yas Marina.
