Terrence Ross left the NBA bubble at Disney World for personal reasons. The Orlando Magic announced on Monday. Ross will undergo medical tests outside of the bubble, albeit unrelated to COVID-19.
Accordingly, the 29-year-old will play against Brooklyn on Tuesday (from 7 p.m. on League Pass) cannot accrue for the Magic. When Ross will return to the bubble is still open. After returning, he will probably have to go into quarantine for at least four days.
The exact background of the medical tests is also not known. According to the Magic, however, these tests were a recommendation from the league doctors. In addition to Ross, the Magic are currently also missing Jonathan Isaac (torn cruciate ligament), Aaron Gordon (thigh) and Michael Carter-Williams (foot problems).
The Magic already have eighth place in the Eastern Conference and would now face the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the playoffs. Ross is the third best Magic scorer this season and has an average of 14.7 points at 40.3 percent from the field and 35.1 percent from the triple line.
