Katy Perry has revealed how the actor asked her for her hand with a lot of emotion and a few blunders.
On February 14, after years of tumultuous relationship, Orlando Bloom asked Katy Perry in marriage. The 34-year-old singer made the news official by posting a photo of her huge ring on Instagram, with Orlando in the background. But the young woman had remained very discreet about the details of this marriage proposal.
Monday, February 25, on the set of Jimmy Kimmel, she told how the British actor asked for her hand. “We went to dinner, and I thought we would go see an art show next… but we got in a helicopter, and he proposed to me in the helicopter. It was very cute, ”she said. But nothing went as planned for Orlando.
In order to distract Katy and get the ring out of her inside suit pocket, he gave her a handwritten letter that he had carefully crafted. “I was reading it but I heard some noise, like broken glass”.
