A group of militants of the Venezuelan ruling party attacked this Saturday Maria Corina Machado while taking a tour of Petare, in Caracas. Opposition politician and presidential candidate was attacked by followers of the dictatorship of Nicolás Maduro.
“We are aware that This fight that we are giving is for the union of Venezuela and by defeat a tyranny that has dedicated itself to sowing terror and violence as we have seen today,” said the leader of Vente Venezuela.
Then he said: “Hundreds of Venezuelans who came to meet us today they were threatened, intimidated by violent groups that we know are sent by the regime. People who come armed, who come aggressively to intimidate society”.
“We will continue touring all of Venezuela, to the last corner of our country. Violence is defeated with force and organization”, he concluded.
This Friday, the opposition member had also suffered attacks, although not as serious as today. A violent group tried to prevent her arrival in Vargas, a historically Chavista state. However, something unprecedented happened: policemen made way for him to attend a campaign event.
In this regard, the pre-candidate for the Presidency expressed yesterday: “What we have just experienced here in Catia la Mar is the demonstration of what is happening throughout Venezuela.
