Oppo is ready to launch a 5G smartphone in the first quarter of 2022

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Oppo revealed, 5G will be the focus of the company this year. As part of the plan, the company is preparing a number of devices that will be released in the first half of 2022 and most of them will be 5G devices.

“Currently the OPPO team is indeed preparing several devices with the latest technology to be introduced in Indonesia, especially in the middle of the first year,” said PR Manager Oppo Indonesia, Aryo Meidianto A in an official statement received on Saturday (8/1/2022).

“To be sure, most of these devices will run on 5G networks,” he said.

According to Aryo, Oppo has indeed seen a fairly high public enthusiasm for 5G in 2021. This can be seen from the demand smartphone 5G last year, one of them was in Reno5 5G.

Aryo said, due to high demand, Oppo increased the number of Reno5 5G production. But for the new device to be launched in 2022, he could not reveal more details.

“What is certain, if nothing goes wrong, seeing the development of 5G in Indonesia is very possible for us to increase the portion of 5G and 4G devices compared to 50:50,” said Aryo, closing his statement.
