OPPO and vivo handsets with Dimensity 810 will arrive in September

MediaTek announced the Dimensity 810 and Dimensity 920 chipsets earlier this month. The latest report reveals that realme and OPPO are two smartphone manufacturers who will soon launch a Dimensity 810 powered device.

No less interesting is a post on Weibo that was spread by an informant from China. He stated that OPPO and Vivo will be the first two smartphone manufacturers to launch smartphones with the Dimensity 810 chipset in September.

Unfortunately, the informant was reluctant to reveal the name of the smartphone from OPPO and vivo powered by Dimensity 810 which is expected to debut next month. However, he previously claimed that the OPPO smartphone will arrive with a 6.5-inch FullHD+ LCD screen and will be equipped with a 16 MP front camera.

Meanwhile, the rear camera setup is likely to have support for a 48 MP Samsung GM1 lens as the main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens and a 2 MP macro lens. It is also said that the smartphone will pocket a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Also expected, the smartphone offers other features such as Gorilla Glass protection for the screen, dust and splash resistance with P2i and a fingerprint scanner on the side. Unfortunately, there is no information regarding the specifications of the Vivo smartphone powered by the Dimensity 810.

In related news, realme is also planning to launch realme 8s 5G in India. Perhaps, it will debut as the country’s first smartphone with the Dimensity 810 chipset. It is estimated that this smartphone will come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ screen that offers a 90Hz refresh rate, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage.

For photography, the realme 8s is likely to have a 16 MP front camera support and a 64 MP quad-camera unit on the back. The smartphone may house a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It could be, the realme 8s will be launched with the Realme 8i which will reportedly also come in September.
