“Open Balkans” will end with war and genocide, believes Djukanovic – World

“It is very clear the goal and how the “Open Balkans” initiative will end. It must end with the disappearance of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo and the Republic of Macedonia. It will certainly cause war and some genocide.”

This was said by Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic, quoted by BGNES.

“Open Balkans” is a project in which Serbia, Albania and RS Macedonia participate. The father of this political project is Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

“This is a question of a controversial project and de facto an alternative scenario for the future of the Western Balkans outside the EU. We do not need this. We need membership in the European Union,” said Djukanovic in an interview with Autonomy.

According to him, the supporters of this project “do not see the future of the region in Europe, nor do they see the multinational democracy of the Balkans”.

“They like the idea of changing borders, ethnic and religious homogenization within large countries. As usual and traditionally everything starts from the Serbian side, but this time under the umbrella of the “Serbian World”. And of course it automatically continues with the same big-state follies”, emphasized the Montenegrin president.

“Open Balkans” must destroy Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo and North Macedonia. However, it will certainly end with a war and another genocide,” Djukanovic said.

The head of state of Montenegro also warned about the dangerous role of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

“The Serbian Orthodox Church uses lies and commits historical falsifications. The Serbian Orthodox Church is the most sinister instrument of Great Serbian nationalism and Russian imperialism in the Balkans,” emphasized Milo Djukanovic.
