The (in) appropriate behaviors are more closely monitored. A #MeToo effect?
Falling in love with your colleague is common given the time you spend at work. But so far, do Belgians pinch that much for their office neighbor? In any case, according to a survey carried out by the HR service provider Tempo-Team with 2,050 workers and employers in Belgium on Valentine’s Day, we can see that the phenomenon is not so marginal. Indeed, according to the study carried out with large companies but also SMEs, 1 in 10 workers has already flirted or fallen in love with a colleague, 7% found themselves in the same bed at least once while 6% have kissed or had a relationship with someone at work. But that remains significantly less than a few years ago: in 2016, almost a quarter of workers admitted to having already had feelings for a colleague.
