A boat with immigrants has been located in the south of Tenerife and its 58 occupants have been transferred to the Los Cristianos dock by Salvamento Marítimo, which has reported the presence of a body inside the patera.
Among the occupants of the boat there were two women and a minor, sources from Maritime Rescue have reported.
The vessel was spotted by a pleasure boat five miles from the coast, in the area of Playa Varadero, in Las Galletas, and a dive boat also reported the presence of the patera.
The occupants of the boat were disembarked at the Los Cristianos dock where they are treated by the health services and the Red Cross.
