Russian oncologist Mikhail Myasenikan indicated how to predict the incidence of cancer by examining nails.
He pointed out that the presence of malignant tumors can be determined by important signs, including lines of different colors in the area of the nail bed, ranging from brown to black, which are single or sporadic, or occupy the entire nails, according to Russia Today.
The doctor advised to monitor the appearance of cracks or broken nails and the presence of signs of bleeding under the nail, and to see a doctor immediately if these signs appear.
And if the treatment of fungi or infectious lesions of the nail plate does not give good results after a long time, then you should contact an oncologist.
