Wesley Sneijder was one of the great Dutch footballers who shone in different European clubs and after his retirement, his life without the ball was what put him on the different pages of world newspapers.
In an interview with the Netherlands’ De Telegraaf newspaper, the former Real Madrid player recalled an anecdote that occurred during his period as an Inter Milan player.

“I once went to a party with George Clooney, Megan Fox and some Hollywood stars. I came home at 6 in the morning. The next day I played against Werder Bremen in the UEFA Champions League,” recalled the Dutchman, adding: “I played, I scored and I gave an assist. If it goes well, you are not afraid to repeat,” he said.
This situation occurred during the 2009/10 season, when the Nerazzurro team conquered continental competition under the leadership of José Mourinho and who had Diego Milito as one of its great architects.
“I am proud of what I have accomplished in football. I have been a Dutch international 134 times. And I have lived life. I feel like I am 76 years old,” said former player Merengue.
