On launches first shoe collection for children and teenagers

Swiss sports brand On expands its product range with the launch of its first collection of shoes for children and teenagers. The Cloud Play and Cloud Sky models are On’s first foray into the world of children’s shoes and are specifically aimed at young wearers.

“When developing the shoes, we were inspired by the boundless imagination of children,” explains Gérald Marolf, Head of Product. “We wanted to create a fun and flexible shoe that encourages movement and therefore creativity. We have adapted our Swiss technology, which is primarily designed for first-class comfort, so that it can also survive the occasional growth spurts of the little ones.”

Inspired by On’s most well-known product, the Cloud, the Cloud Play and Cloud Sky are also designed to offer convenience and durability. The models are aimed at young and growing users.

“The adapted CloudTec technology was developed with biometrics in mind and activates at a much lower weight. This makes it suitable for smaller feet that need to move freely and grow,” promises the brand.

A reinforced toe cap is designed to provide protection and durability for a variety of activities. For the children’s version and a “simple but safe system”, On combines elastic laces with a Velcro closure.

Cloud Play children’s shoes and Cloud Sky teen shoes are available now worldwide at select retail partners and the On online store.
