A beehive is a special creation of nature that symbolizes harmony, hard work and diligence for us. Folk artists, craftsmen and creators sew their own honeycombs, like those industrious little girls. From morning till night, he perfects his creations and his craft. Together, they are like humming bees, bringing goods to one hive – the fair.
The organizer of the fair, Festivus, says that it gave this name to the fair to be inspired by the image that greets the venue. The fair is always bustling with visitors, folk artists and craftsmen who talk about their creations, sound of wooden spoons being moved by the wind, and somewhere an harmonica is playing. It looks like a lot of hustle and bustle, but really everyone in that hive is doing their job.
More than 90 developers and manufacturers will participate in the fair. Producers will sell delicious handmade baked goods: bread, cakes, scallions. And for those who can’t get enough of the sweetness of confectionery products, they will be able to purchase honey products that will surely melt your heart. The fair attracts producers from all over Lithuania with a wide range of smoked and cured meats, locally smoked fish, giro bački and other bravura products.
During the fair, you will not only be able to fill your bellies, but also adorn yourself with the creators’ exclusive handmade accessories and jewelry products. Textile manufacturers and natural leather craftsmen will also offer their range. The most beautiful ceramic products will be presented by clay creators, whose assortment includes unique home interior details and luxury tableware.
The beehive will be filled by gardeners from all over Lithuania. Their assortment includes fruit trees, fruit bushes, ornamental trees, annual and perennial flowers. After all, there would be no honey without flowers.
The beehive will hum in J. Basanavičius Square on April 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
