La Paz, January 11, 2023 (UCOM/DPB).- With more than 1,300 subscribers on its WhatsApp channel, the Ombudsman’s Office once again invites the population to subscribe to this information tool, which will allow them to learn first-hand hand, all the information generated by the institution, such as calls, opening of courses, activities and all the events related to the promotion and defense of human rights.
The defense institution, always seeking to innovate and seek new spaces and channels of communication towards citizens, opened this space with the aim of democratizing and socializing information of interest to the population and reaching people directly with all the news that interests children. , girls, adolescents, women, men, people with disabilities, older adults, indigenous peoples, people belonging to vulnerable populations, students and professionals.
To enter the channel, people must enter the link: click on the SEE CHANNEL option. Then, to subscribe you must click on the follow option and you will be subscribed to the defense channel.
The Ombudsman’s Office has a wide variety of communication products, ranging from defense news, through DP NOTICIAS, the interactive bulletin “Al Día con los Derechos Humanos”, production of audiovisual and graphic information capsules, streaming, live broadcasts, among others. others, contained in their social networks of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and the institutional website: www.defensoria.gob.bo. All these products will be present daily on the WhatsApp channel.
Channels are a new WhatsApp feature, which comes to turn the app into a source of information. In Bolivia, various media outlets have been opening these accounts since the last quarter of 2023.
