Officials of Saudi Arabian football clubs continue to try to acquire another big name. Their latest target is reportedly Bruno Fernandes, for whom they are willing to offer Manchester United up to 100 million euros.
As the portal Fichajes.net reports, several teams from the Middle East have shown interest in the services of the “red devils” captain. The local clubs are willing to submit lucrative offers for the acquisition of the 29-year-old midfielder already during the next summer transfer period.
Bruno Fernandes arrived at Old Trafford in January 2020 when the English paid Sporting €65 million for him and they can get up to €100 million for him at the end of this season.
The Portuguese international became the captain of the team led by Erik ten Hag. His contract with Manchester United is valid until 2026, with the possibility of an extension for another year, and he has not yet commented on a possible transfer to Saudi Arabia. His future will probably be decided by how the situation in his current team will develop.
