Hugo Martin, creative director of DOOM Eternal, confirmed via Facebook that the game will not have microtransactions, nor a virtual store, and all cosmetic items (the outfit for the main character or skins for weapons) can be obtained exclusively through the gameplay.
The Doom Eternal game is being developed by the American studio id Software and will be published by Bethesda Softworks. The game is a direct sequel to the last Doom, released in 2016. The Doom Eternal release is scheduled for March 20, 2020 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
