BOLASPORT.COM – PSSI General Chairperson Mochamad Iriawan decided the League 1, League 2 and League 3 competitions to restart in October 2020 and end in early 2021 through Decree SKEP / 48 / III / 2020 in Extraordinary Conditions.
Previously, the League 1 and League 2 competitions were stopped on March 27, 2020 due to a corona virus pandemic (Covid-19) due to circumstances force majeure.
PSSI officially decided that the League 1 competition would be continued again with the hope that it could be carried out on October 1 2020
The hope, the competition can end in early 2021, precisely January or February.
“Definitely change the year, shift to the beginning of next year,” said PSSI General Chairperson Mochamad Iriawan, at the PSSI Office, Central Jakarta, Sunday (6/28/2020), at a press conference attended by BolaSport.com.
“Hopefully October 1 can roll and there is a jump to 2021, between January or February. Before March, it is expected to be finished,” he said.

With the continuation of League 1 and League 2, it is hoped that Indonesia has adapted and learned from the conditions new normal to maintain good health through a soccer campaign.
“We need to carry out a campaign through football that Indonesia has begun to adapt and learn from the ‘New Normal’ situation by implementing health protocols. “Football competition is a good campaign for the outside world,” he said.
