Plan Facebook merging some of its services has long been rumored. In August, Facebook reportedly started merging Instagram DM with Facebook Messenger.
Now, Facebook has officially announced that it has integrated Messenger with DM Instagram.
“More than 1 billion people have used Messenger as a place to share, socialize and express themselves with family and friends,” said Facebook. detiKINET from Ubergizmo, Thursday (1/10/2020).

“That’s why we are connecting the Messenger experience and Instagram to bring some of the best Messenger features to Instagram, so that you have access to the best messaging experience, no matter what app you use.” Facebook.
With the integration of Instagram and Messenger, users will be given the choice of whether they want to update the application to new features or not.
The user will be shown a message on the screen asking if they would like to update to this new messaging method or skip it in the meantime.
However, if the user chooses to update, this means that they can choose to reply to messages on whichever application is open, without having to go back and forth between Instagram and Messenger.
Step Facebook This is considered a fairly interesting update. If users use Instagram Messenger or DMs frequently, then this can be a welcome feature.
