Khezri graduated as an architect and has been living in Ghent with her husband since this year. She specializes in contemporary styles of Persian calligraphy. “The Ghent Altarpiece reminds me of people who had to die for their faith”, she explains the link with Van Eyck. “It also reminds me of the people who have become symbols of our oneness and awakening.”
Khezri has further developed her own art style by combining different techniques. She performs, but also makes drawings, animations, paintings and sculptures.
