A Yiddish song that was written in the Vilnius ghetto is played on a historic square in Offenbach.

“Mir lebn eybik” is the title of a Yiddish song that was written in the Vilnius ghetto in 1943 – an astonishingly powerful piece in view of the overwhelming Nazi terror.

On the 75th anniversary of the end of the war, it was played in front of the German Leather Museum in Offenbach – on the 8th of May 1945.

The alliance announced that around two dozen organizations had each sent one person to the reminder hour.
