Shock in Torreón due to massacre of two nurses and an IMSS secretary: they were tortured

Three sisters, two of them nurses and the other secretary of Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), they were killed in a house to the west of the city of Torreón, Coahuila.

The discovery of the bodies, which showed visible signs of violence, was made this Friday at 00:30. The bodies were found inside a home on Fifth Street, Compresora neighborhood.

“Elements of the State Attorney General’s Office learned of the discovery of three female persons, without vital signs, in a state of decomposition, and that according to the first indications, they would have died by strangulation“The agency announced through a statement.

The victims were identified as Cecilia “N”, 48 years old; Araceli “N”, 59, and Dora “N”, 56. They were all sisters and worked in the health sector.

At the crime scene, the women’s bodies were on the floor with their hands and feet tied, two two of them were on the ground floor of the house and the other was upstairs, on a bed.

The FGE is awaiting the results of the autopsy, meanwhile it has already opened an investigation folder for these events.

After the massacre, the Mexican Institute of Social Security published a statement in which it strongly condemned the murder of the workers.
