Occupiers say “referendum” on “joining Russia” is “not on the agenda” yet – UNIAN

Earlier, Stremousov said that he intends to ask the Kremlin to “attach” the region to Russia.

The invaders of the Kherson region temporarily changed their minds about holding a pseudo-referendum on “joining” the occupied territories to the Russian Federation.

According to the Russian propaganda agency RIA Novosti, a protege of the Kremlin, a collaborator Kirill Stremousov said that “holding a referendum in the Kherson region is not yet on the agenda.”

According to him, “today the priority is the return of the region to a normal peaceful life.”

A plebiscite (a nationwide vote on the issue of state ownership of a certain territory), according to him, is possible, but “after the stabilization of the situation.”
