NVIDIA’s streaming service GeForce Now allows players to stream PC games using cloud gaming on various devices such as PC, MAC, NVIDIA Shield or Android devices instead of having to install them on a juicy expensive computer or notebook. After registering, users can access the libraries of various providers. It is also possible to use games you have already purchased from the various stores.
The games run on high-performance servers with GeForce graphics cards in NVIDIA’s server farms. Game updates, patches and game-ready driver downloads are done there automatically. The long beta was used to optimize performance, latency and processes as much as possible. You can stream in resolutions up to 1080p at 60 frames per second, provided your own internet connection allows it.
GeForce NOW offers two options: free membership and Founders membership. The free membership offers one-hour sessions with standard access to GeForce Now servers. There is no limit to the number of game sessions. A new session can be started immediately after the session has expired.
Users can also upgrade to a Founders membership with a longer session and no waiting times. These members receive priority access to the GeForce Now servers and an extended session duration of up to six hours. You also get exclusive access to RTX content. The Founders membership includes a free 90-day trial, followed by a monthly membership fee of 5.49 euros for the next 12 months.
