The number of corona patients in intensive care has risen from 19 to 22 in the past 24 hours, in the nursing wards there are 67 infected people, six fewer than the day before. This is reported by the National Coordination Center for Patient Distribution (LCPS).
Chairman Ernst Kuipers of the National Network Acute Care: “The number of Covid patients in hospitals remains stable, with the number of patients on the IC increasing slightly. However, the number of IC patients is still within the bandwidth as seen in the past month.”
In addition to the 22 corona patients, the intensive care units also contain 568 people with other conditions. This means that intensivists treat a total of 590 people. That number has been hovering around 600 for two months. Under normal circumstances, ICUs would now treat around 900 people.
