The total occupancy on the ICs is 932, 16 less than the day before. The IC contains 431 patients who do not have a corona. That’s 45 fewer than Friday. The nursing wards also admitted 13 corona patients in the past 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, 40 people have been moved to hospitals in other parts of the country. Seven cases concerned ICU patients, two of whom were transferred to Germany.
The peak of the first corona wave was in late March and early April. At the time, about 1,400 corona patients were in intensive care and about 2,500 in a nursing ward. These numbers are higher than now, but during that period the regular care was almost completely stopped, while the hospitals now want to continue the care for others as much as possible.
